Privacy policy

Step Up Pilates collects only what it needs to run your classes. This page says what that is, who sees it, and how to change or remove it.

What we collect

• Account: your name, phone number, email, and date of birth.
• Health: injuries, conditions, and notes you give us so instructors can adapt the work, plus your signed waiver.
• Classes: bookings, waitlist places, attendance, and your pack and its payments recorded at the desk.
• Messages: whether you opted in to WhatsApp, and the notices we sent you.
• Contact form: the name, phone, email and message you type, so the studio can reply.

We do not take card details. Payment is made at the studio by cash or UPI.

Why

To book you in, confirm and remind you, run the waitlist, keep instructors informed about your body, keep track of your pack, reach you if a class changes, and answer your messages. Nothing is used for advertising or sold, and nothing leaves the studio except through the services named under Who sees it.

Who sees it

• The owner and the front desk see your contact details, pack, and payments, and the messages you send through the contact form.
• Instructors see your name, phone number, attendance and health notes for the classes they teach. They do not see your payments.
• Other members never see your details.

A few services run the site for us and handle your details only to do that job: Google Firebase stores accounts and bookings (servers in Mumbai, India) and runs Google sign-in, Vercel hosts the website, Resend sends our emails, and Meta's WhatsApp Business service sends WhatsApp messages if you opted in.

Messages

Booking confirmations, reminders, waitlist updates, and pack notices go by email, and by WhatsApp too if you opted in with a phone number you confirmed by code. Payment receipts go by email. WhatsApp is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off any time in your profile or by replying STOP. Replies to something you or the studio just did, like a booking, a cancellation or a waitlist place, are sent straight away. Reminders and other notices are not sent between 9 pm and 7 am.

The studio may also send occasional news and offers by email. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can switch them off in your profile. This never stops booking messages.

Cookies and your device

Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in. Your display choices are saved on your device. This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. The map on the contact page is loaded from Google Maps, which has its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a member, and for a short period after your last pack ends so the studio can answer questions about past classes and payments. Ask us to remove your account and we will delete it, keeping only the payment records the law requires. A contact form message is removed 90 days after the studio reads it, or sooner if you ask.

Your choices

You can see and change your details in your profile. To correct something you cannot edit, or to have your account or a message removed, ask at the studio, email support@stepuppilates.com, or use the form on the contact page.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
